Back on Campus

So we are all back on Campus and it is not such a bad place to be. Let me here officially announce that the Winners of the 2005/2006 Poetry and Review Competitions were Young J for his poem “Hyperion” (which you can view in the Creative Community -click on the side bar for this- on February 9th 2006; and Alyssa P for her fantastic review of “Pride and Prejudice” which you can read in the Review Community (click on sidebar) on October 30th 2005. Runners up for the poetry were: oliviap with her “Floating Chemical Addiction”- December 7th 2005; Public dna -last year’s winner- with his “White Tiles” – Jan 8th 2005: Dan Gleeson with his “Speculation Institution” Nov 20th 2005; James C with his “Untitled” Jan 10th and Laurence Roma with his “Meeting Once Again” October 31st 2005. These were just the cream of a fabulous collection of poems across 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. Have a read and be inspired. Runners up for the Review Competition were Cameron N with his “Narnia” review and Dan (dy3571x) for his review of “The Office”…. please will the winners send my a photo so that I can post you up on the World Wide Web! As you know a colleague Ross K is initiating P___I_____G Poetry in the Gallery which is a great venue for our budding poets to presented IN PERSON!!!! So Young J from 2006 and David (Public dna) have been asked to read their winning poems on the 8th March at 4.45. The runners up mentioned above are also invited to read their poems.
