I was privileged to be able to organize with the Al Ghazzali Centre in Sydney a Symposium on the theme of Love & Intellect: A Recipe for Peace. We had Islamic speakers Imam Afroz Ali and Ustadh Feraidoon who developed this theme. I gave a talk chiefly on the Mysticism of Hildegard of Bingen, Meister Eckhart, John of the Cross, George Herbert and most recently Laurence Freeman OSB.
